Out & About

Art may best be appreciated on museum and gallery walls, but CultureHaus members have been known to occasionally wander beyond those walls to share new and different experiences with one another. Out & About are events that cater to the social side of CultureHaus members and include adventures like bartending classes, restaurant openings and a bicycle tour. One event, titled "Heir to the Grown: A Fête for the Urban Locavore," featured Colorado products, right down to the liquor.

Collects

Collects are art-specific events within the greater-Denver art scene available exclusively to CultureHaus members. Members-only invitations to view private collections, peruse galleries, and get a behind-the-scenes look at studios are just a few of the Collects events members can enjoy.

InHaus

InHaus focuses on educational programs and events within the Denver Art Museum.  Led by a curator or artist, each InHaus program explores a specific temporary or permanent DAM exhibit from "behind the scenes."  A cocktail reception for socializing and networking with other CultureHaus members with similar interests is included with each event.

Banner

CultureHaus' Banner event is its signature annual fundraiser and one of Denver's most acclaimed parties. More than 400 members and guests attend this annual celebration, which is as much a fun-raiser as it is a fundraiser. By choosing a relevant noun to complete the phrase: "The Art of…", a different party theme is selected each year. From live artist demonstrations to culinary cook-offs to martini ice luges, Banner celebrates creativity and captivates crowds. 

Bash

Now one of the hottest fall events in Denver, Bash is a yearly recognition party for CultureHaus members and allows non-members an exclusive view into the organization. In 2011, with the theme, "Bash in the Basement," CultureHaus showcased artwork of the Denver Art Museum that had not been seen for over 10 years. Asking guests to wear black and white with a pop of color, "Black & White" was the theme for 2010 and coincided with the Denver Art Museum's photography exhibit, Exposure: Photos from the Vault. All Bash events have the overarching theme of "Join CultureHaus" and frequently offer discounted memberships for that night only.
