Calling all Denver Street Art Adventurers! Come aboard for a unique bus tour of the city’s eclectic street art that’s sure to blow up your Instagram. Whether you’re a longtime street art aficionado or just looking to learn more about Denver’s vibrant arts scene, join us for the mobile party of the year!
The tour will be co-guided by Cori Anderson, founder of The Street Art Network of Denver and Arts & Culture writer for 303 Magazine, and will feature some of Denver’s own street artists and muralists themselves, giving us a comprehensive, in-depth look at the best known works around town, as well as the hidden gems you’ve been missing.
We will meet and depart from the Denver Art Museum and kick off the tour through the lesser-known cultural gems of the Westwood neighborhood, where you’ll see quintessential Aztec imagery and Hispanic icons like Cesar Chavez depicted on the walls. From there we will venture to the colorful murals of the Santa Fe Arts District, swing up north for some unexpected pieces, walk through the surreal mural collection hiding underneath I-70, and wrap it up through the famed RiNo Arts District, where artist Jeremy Burns will share his story on one of the neighborhood’s iconic murals.
To cap it all off with a smile we will end the tour back at the Denver Art Museum in time for the release of Stuart Semple’s “Happy Clouds.”
Cold brews will be provided by Odell Brewery but we encourage you to pack a snack.
