The DAM shows off its moves with the new exhibition, Rhythm & Roots: Dance in American Art. Join CultureHaus for an exclusive tour of the show, which encompasses about 90 paintings, photographs, and sculptures depicting dance between 1830-1960, and explores the influences, evolution, and distinct traditions of our continent’s wide range of cultural dances, from Irish jigs to Spanish flamencos. We will round out the evening by experiencing the interactive dance installation #dancelab, created by local artistic dance partner Wonderbound and creative firm Legwork Studio! Complimentary Odell beer will be provided, as well as a cash-only bar.
